Meet Badria

Badria fled Afghanistan from the Taliban years ago, but much of her family remains trapped in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

In addition to being Hazara, a persecuted minority by the Taliban, they also are trying to keep the women in the family from being forced into marriage, the girls from sex trafficking and the boys from child soldiering - all of which are currently commonplace within the new order of the Taliban rule.
